Babywearing for Doulas and Perinatal Professionals

Babywearing for Doulas welcomes all perinatal service providers to learn about the wide variety of carrier types and how to help clients use them effectively and safely. We will cover the benefits and limitations of each carrier type, basic universal carrier safety measures and how to help clients with special circumstances. Helping clients breastfeed in carriers will also be addressed.

This 90-minute class will provide attendees with information and instruction as well as hands-on carrier demonstration. Class fee is $35. Class size is limited to 10.

Class is held at Shift Massage on the lake. You will find plentiful, free street parking. Please walk through the breezeway in the building toward the water and find us in suite 110.

Babywearing for Doulas is taught by Megan Riggs, certified postpartum doula and babywearing mom of two. Megan offers babywearing education to parents and professionals in group classes and private consults. More information can be found at facebook.com/postpartumcare.
