Western and North Western India, comprising of the states of Rajasthan, Gujarat and Maharashtra relies heavily on vegetarian dishes unique to the region. However the meat dishes are no less unique from this region. Fish is also popular along the coast of Maharashtra. You will have the opportunity to taste dishes rarely represented in Indian American restaurants
