Hollywood Awards Night at Tampa Theatre!

Now in it's 16th year at Tampa Theatre, Hollywood Awards Night (previously known as Oscar Night America) has become a tradition that Tampa's film fans look forward to. It's an evening where YOU get the star treatment with a red-carpet arrival and elegant VIP reception, including limo rides around the block, adoring fans and paparazzi. Celebrating Hollywood's biggest night of the year has never been more exciting than watching the telecast live on the historic Tampa Theatre's big screen.

Not only are attendees guests of Tampa Theatre for the evening, but they will also enjoy an authentic red carpet experience! The event begins at 6:30 p.m. with the Red Carpet Reception with Roan Jivers! Inside the lobby, guests can sample scrumptious appetizers and peruse silent auction items representing local businesses.

The OSCAR Red Carpet Live pre-show telecast will begin at 8 p.m., followed by ABC's live telecast of the 86th Annual Academy Awards on the big screen. There will be a cash bar all night long, and those guests who stay until the Best Picture is announced at the end of the telecast will enjoy doughnuts and coffee afterwards!

Guests are encouraged to show off their star status with a movie-themed costume, or let the glamour of Hollywood inspire an outfit!
