FINDING THE MISSING
Join Madison Police Canine Officer Carren Corcoran for an intimate presentation surrounding Jeanette Zapata's mysterious disappearance and the amazing discovery almost 30 years later broke the case.
Carren Corcoran is a 24 year veteran of the City of Madison Police Department, and has traveled throughout the U.S. and Canada, consulting and working on missing persons cases for 15 years. Along with sharing the details of the Zapata mystery, Carren will also recount her life experiences working with human remains detection (HRD) dogs.
Carren will also be joined by Jean's daughter, Linda Zapata, who will share her moving story of her mother's disappearance in 1976 and her journey to solve the case.
All proceeds from this event will benefit Team Madison Police - Law Enforcement United, a group of dedicated Police Officers who will be riding over 250 miles from Reading, PA to Washington D.C. during National Police Week to raise funds to help support the Concerns of Police Survivors (C.O.P.S) and the Officer Down Memorial Page (ODMP) organizations.
