For the first 100 attendees (present at the event) - you will receive $1 of your cover back if you will take the time to fill out a short and open survey of the event. We'll include these slips of paper at the door, just let us know what we could do better or what you enjoyed.

20 b-boys/b-girls will be invited to compete; On the day of the competition 12 bboys will be selected from a 1 person showcase round, amounting to 16 randomly selected teams of 2.

MISSION:

Irban and I developed this unique event concept (partially inspired by WBC/NWSS) in the spirit of bringing our community together, and taking the focus off of winning a battle for the prize money and put it back on winning a battle for the pride and respect.

THE ROYALE:

This competition will feature 32 of the illest breakers from Canada, Oregon, Washington. There will be 8 b-boys/b-girls invited from each region, totalling to 24, and on the day of the competition 8 b-boys/b-girls will be selected from a showcase and join the 24 invitees. So don't worry, if you weren't invited you can still get in on this! (Edit: Due to invitee complications there are only 20 invited bboys/bgirls)

THIS IS WHERE IT'S GOING TO GET INTERESTING.

There is no prize specified because each participating dancer is going to be given a cash amount for participating in the competition. Starting with the first round, there will be a minimum wager you must place against the crew you battle; this minimum wager will get higher as you move farther up the competition. Competitors will collect their actual prize either when they lose or when they win the whole competition (details on how to bet will come later).

In short: You win a battle, you get more money. How much money? That's up to ya'll.

THIS IS WHERE IT'S GOING TO GET MORE INTERESTING.

Sounds good, right? You and your crew-mate will enter, vibe off each other, take some money from your opponents, and walk away on top, right?

All 32 of the competitors, including the 12 from the showcase, will not know who their partner is until the day of. They will be randomly paired with each other, and will have almost no time to prepare.
