The Power of Outdoor Spaces - How the Design & Use of Learning Environments can Impact Education
Did you know...THE ENVIRONMENT IS THE THIRD TEACHER ? *

* There are three teachers of children:  adults, other children, and their physical environment. --Loris Malaguzzi

Well-designed outdoor spaces make a tremendous difference in the way children play and learn, yet are largely ignored in the current school design process.  Come learn the developmental needs and design principles that shape effective outdoor learning and play spaces, as well as how schools can make great use of them to benefit children.
