Feast of Winterfell

The Guild of Cookery proudly presents the Feast of Winterfell!
Winter has come to San Francisco, bringing with it the opportunity to savor the scents, sounds, and flavors of Winterfell. Hearty peasants sup on hearty foods while the lords and ladies in their castles dine on the choicest game from the Wolfswood and vegetables from the glass gardens of Winterfell. Raise a tankard of ale or a flagon of mead as you feast on the foods of the North.
This feast is inspired by Bran's feast in A Clash of Kings, and all the dishes are taken verbatim from there. The Guild of Cookery is dedicated to authenticity, and has sourced many of their recipes and techniques from 15th and 16th century cookbooks. The vegetables are sourced from local farms and the meat comes from local producers.
Live music will be provided by the talented Alex Garcia Duo!
The menu for the feast will be as follows:

Goose with Berries
Venison and Bacon Pie Thick with Carrots and Mushrooms
Peppered Boar
Aurochs* Roasted with Leeks
Crab, Mussels, Clams, and Cod Baked with Seaweed
Buttered Turnips
Herbed Pease Porridge
Roasted Red Onions
Berry Tarts
Pears Poached in Strongwine

*In the likely event we aren't able to source out Aurochs (a type of wild cow that was hunted to extinction in the 1600s) we will substitute beef.

Drinks will be sold a la carte.
Tickets must be purchased in advance, no tickets will be sold at the door.
This feast is open to all ages.
Due to the nature of our feast, we will not be able to accommodate dietary restrictions.
