Still Life Reference
Introduction to the techniques required to develop still life drawing skills.
This technique is a building block for the artist creator. Two approaches will be demonstrated: rapid capture of an image to develop a minimalistic style; detail capture of an three-dimensional object.
This is a basic technique often practiced with conte crayon and newsprint. Skills are built through arm movement, iteration, and repetition. The class costs include material costs. If creators have a preferred medium or sketchbook practice, instructors will offer tips and discuss for application into those materials.
This class is part of a series, however, no prior class attendance is required.
