Senior Play: Almost, Maine
The class of 2022 invites you to their production of ALMOST, MAINE by John Cariani. A clever and heartfelt play about love and loss, connection and the inability to connect, ALMOST, MAINE opened off-Broadway in 2006 and since then has become the most frequently-produced play in American high schools--and with good reason. Nine short vignettes about love (both romantic and otherwise) upend trite "rom-com" expectations, by turns hilarious, tinged with deep sadness, and frequently absurd. Students have taken up design work (sets, costumes, props, and lighting), as well as directing, music, and stage management.
Wednesday, June 1 7:00pm Thursday, June 2 7:00pm
This intimate performance will take place in Hazel Hall at Seattle Waldorf High School. Seating is limited; advanced tickets are strongly recommended.
Some mature themes and language; recommended for ages 13 and up.
