Write: Doe Bay 2014 (Spring)
Thank you for your interest in Write Doe Bay 2014. We will maintain a wait list for people interested in attending the April conference.
To be added to the wait list, email writedoebay@gmail.com with your name, phone (including area code) and the subject line "WAIT LIST" and we will contact you if a spot opens. Contact will be made via phone between the hours of 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. M-F (excluding holidays). You will have 4 hours to respond and complete the purchase of a ticket or we will have to move on to the next person on the list.

The second annual Write: A Doe Bay Workshop, April 10-13, will bring together 25 participants at the lovely Doe Bay Resort and Retreat on Orcas Island, Washington. Through shared meals and shared housing, a new vision for a writer's retreat takes place. Community flourishes, walls break down and love flows.
Write: A Doe Bay Workshop bridges genre gaps along the feather of storytelling, where songwriting presents as poetry, poetry as memoir and memoir as narrative song. At Doe Bay, we are all storytellers and we all have a tale to unlock, whichever genre our words choose, and we'll present the key to unlocking the raw narrative inside.
The Fine Print
Workshop is limited to 25 participants. Tickets go on sale Thursday, December 12. A processing fee of $50 will be charged for cancellations made 30 days or more before the event. There will be no refunds for cancellations made within 30 days of the event, although substitutions may be permitted at the discretion of Write staff. Refunds will not be provided for registrants who do not attend the conference. Notice of cancellation must be made via e-mail to writedoebay@gmail.com. A cancellation acknowledgement will be sent within 3 working days and fees refunded within 10 working days, subject to this Refund Policy.
Note that circumstances beyond the control of the conference organizers may necessitate substitutions, alterations or cancellations of the speakers and/or topics. Therefore, Write: A Doe Bay Alumni workshop reserves the right to alter or modify the advertised speakers and/or topics if necessary. Any substitutions or alterations will be updated on the conference web site as soon as possible.
