Grow Mushrooms on Hardwood Logs Workshop - Provisions Mushroom Farm
Christian Kaelin of Provisions Mushroom Farm is excited to offer a workshop that gives you a first hand look at how a small farm cultivates a variety of gourmet and medicinal mushrooms for it's CSA Membership and Farmers Markets.
This workshop will specialize in cultivating Shiitake and Oyster mushrooms on recently cut hardwood logs. We will discuss step by step the necessary tools and supplies you will need to successfully grow a few pounds of mushrooms to hundreds of pounds, yearly. Each participant may take home the mushroom logs they made and watch them grow for years to come. Discounted prices on other cultivation kits and supplies will also be available for purchase.
This is a great opportunity for us to network with like minded people and distribute knowledge that will help build a healthy and stronger community.
