STL Up Late 12/14/13
ABOUT BOXING CLEVER:
How many advertising agencies have a record label? Boxing Clever does, so that's one. We're just as passionate about music as we are the creativity put into everything done for our clients.
It's not just any old band we'll choose to share with the world, because we're music snobs and proud of it (the creative team, anyway, our account team is a work in progress). Every Boxing Clever Records release will contain originality and quality, delivered in classic 7-inch vinyl with exceptional letterpress packaging and stunning design.
Check back soon to find out what makes our ears happy, and you, too, can become a true music snob if you aren't already.
ABOUT Super Fun Yeah Yeah Rocketship:
We were once a one man band but now we are a two man band and we do things and like things and rock.
We played at a Qdoba and won a year's worth of burritos. We played with Alien Ant Farm, Electric Six, and Mindless Self Indulgence. We were on a wrestling pay per view. We play Freebird. We've got a mic and guitar and some beats and that's all we need.
ABOUT THE SHOW:
Looking for an original live and local experience? STL Up Late is an interactive late night talk show featuring the most talented and engaging guests that St. Louis has to offer. STL Up Late takes all of the best elements of your favorite televised late night talk shows, like live music and famous personalities, and adds interactive audience games, sketch comedy, and a spontaneity that you can't find on FCC regulated TV shows. Anything can happen on STL Up Late, but you have to be there to see it because this is a live show only!
Guests include local politicians, developers, actors and other big personalities currently contributing to the St. Louis community, local up and coming musicians, as well as national media figures and touring acts.
Unlike televised late night shows STL Up Late is focused on the live comedy experience and provides a distinctly local flavor, lampooning the current events surrounding YOUR city, covering the people and places that interest you directly.
Every weekly show features a brand new guest, musical act and set of comedic sketches. Come an be a part of this uniquely St. Louis experience.
