Operation Understanding Annual Distinguished Community Leadership Reception
Join Operation Understanding on Wednesday March 5th at 5:30 pm for the annual leadership reception celebrating individuals who are dedicated to serving the broader community. Each of this years honorees have witnessed the challenges that others face and made strides to create solutions. We honor them for their commitment which sets them apart as cherished community leaders and role models to current and future leaders.

The Operation Understanding Annual Leadership Reception celebrates leadership in the community by presenting the OU Distinguished Community Leadership award to members of the community who embody the spirit of OU's mission of respect for difference, service and leadership.
The Founders' Award for Distinguished Leadership & Service to Operation Understanding is named memory of the tremendous legacies of OU co-founders Congressman William H. Gray III and George M. Ross. This special honor is awarded to an OU alum, board member or former board member in recognition of their contributions to Operation Understanding.
