Old Hospital on College Hill Ghost Hunt
The haunted Old Hospital on College Hill in Williamson, WV is a haven for the paranormal. Our overnight Ghost Hunt at this location will definitely test your nerve.

Can you muster the courage to sit alone in the x-ray room to try to find out who is protecting it.

Location History:

Williamson Memorial Hospital, now referred to as the Old Hospital on College Hill, located in Williamson, West Virginia, first opened its doors in March of 1928 after the original hospital located downtown was destroyed by a fire in 1926.

This new, state-of-the-art hospital would accommodate up to 50 patients and served the community for 60 years. The emergency room was initially located in the basement along with the cafeteria, radiology department and the lab, but was later moved to the first-floor street level to offer greater accessibility and convenience. The four-story facility housed the ICU on the first floor, labor and delivery on the second floor, surgery suites and medical exam rooms on the third floor, and a pharmacy on the fourth floor.

Although the hospital was sold to a medical management group in 1979, it remained in operation, serving the residents of Williamson until 1988 when a new facility was built down the road. The old hospital was remodeled and became doctors offices until 2014, and then was used as a storage facility until 2018. The local Convention and Visitors Bureau began hosting paranormal events around Halloween when it became well-known that locals often saw unexplainable things going on within the old hospital. Things like people staring out from the windows, even though there was no access or evidence of entry into the building, or lights inside turning on and off, seemingly on their own.

Recently purchased by a private investor, the Old Hospital on College Hill is now open for visitors to see for themselves if the ghostly legends and rumors are true. Come and experience the energy left behind within the walls of the building that provided decades of service to the community by exploring the hallways and rooms that may still be inhabited by those who passed on long ago  that is, if you have the courage to join us.

The Paranormal:

Williamson, West Virginia is a small town located along Tug Fork River, and home to a seemingly haunted location which is quickly gaining notoriety among paranormal investigators. Welcome to the Old Hospital on College Hill.

Opened with all the modern conveniences of the time in 1928, Williamson Memorial Hospital was built to replace the downtown hospital which was destroyed by a fire in 1926. The new facility boasted 50 beds and served the community for 60 years until a new hospital was built nearby.

After some renovation, it was used as doctors offices for 26 years before it was reduced to a storage building. But strange sights started appearing in the windows of the former hospital on the hill.

Things like faces staring out from rooms that had long gone unused, and lights turning on and off even though there wasnt any access or signs of entry to the building.

The police were called out to the property to investigate on several occasions but found no one inside the building.

Now you can find out for yourself if the stories are true. Follow in the footsteps of Dakota and Chelsea Laden from Destination Fear and explore the dark hallways and seemingly empty rooms of the Old Hospital on College Hill for yourself.

Is there a former nurse who reportedly died while on duty still lingering within, checking on her patients? People have reported seeing a full-bodied female apparition on several occasions.

Perhaps when you visit the x-ray room you will encounter a not-so-friendly spirit who may tell you leave. Maybe the elevator will stop to pick up an unseen entity who roams around on closed-off and empty floors.

If you think you have what it takes to explore and investigate this old hospital with us, book your ticket now.

Maybe you think you can muster the courage to sit alone in the x-ray room to try to find out who is protecting it.

If you ask the right questions, you may just get an answer about who still lingers here.

Join us and see what happens if you dare.
