Posey Dance Repertory Company Concert
Winter concert of new and old dances performed by dancers of Posey Dance Repertory Company. Dancers are ages nine through eighteen and students at Posey School of Dance in Northport Village, on Long Island in New York.
They will perform excerpts from the Nutcracker Ballet, and a new ballet choreographed by Elsa Posey, Gaite Parisienne after the Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo. A new contemporary dance by choreographer Michela Brown will have its premiere.
Dancers assist in choreographing the ballets and collaborate with the professioal choreographers. Despite their young ages, te dancers are well know for their artistry.
Performed in a Victorian Ballroom setting at Posey School located at 57 Main Street in Northport Village, the annual winter dance concert is a community favorite.
