Conor Romero ("The Michael J. Fox Show") & Barry Germansky present the world premiere of FOLLOW THE TRACKS WE FORGOT TO FINISH, a play by Barry Germansky.

A scathing satire on blind devotion to efficiency for efficiency's sake, FOLLOW THE TRACKS WE FORGOT TO FINISH chronicles the efforts of a group of desperate characters trapped on board a stalled subway train to understand where they are headed in life as they transform into something more than what they previously considered "human." The play is directed by Paul Dervis (winner of Boston Magazine's "Best Play" in 1986 for David Mamet's EDMOND, in 1988 for Tom Eyen's WOMEN BEHIND BARS, and in 1998 for Israel Horovitz's FREE GIFT), and the large, vibrant cast includes Rachelle Casseus (TVO's "Hard Rock Medical"), Corry Burke, Charlie Ebbs, Doug Phillips, Garrett Quirk, and Cameron Rufelds. Conor Romero, who stars as the titular actor's eldest son on NBC's "The Michael J. Fox Show," is co-producing the play with Barry Germansky.

Synopsis: Due to the negligence of a mysterious, nameless company, a group of passengers find themselves trapped on board a subway train after it travels through an incomplete tunnel. Shrouded in darkness and constantly battling each other's wits, the passengers slowly realize that they had nowhere important to go in the first place. They begin to understand that they are alienated from their surface-world jobs, relationships, and surroundings. To ease their suffering, they devise a plan to stay underground in the dark, waiting to reach to a new state of being -- and maybe even evolve into a new species altogether. But what will happen when the rescuers arrive to drag them back up to the surface? Barry Germansky has constructed a unique satire on efficiency for efficiency's sake, stressing the importance of humanely independent thought in a world gone mad with misguided intentions.

The play runs from Dec. 11 - 15 and 17 - 21, 2013 at 8:00 pm at Shetler Studios (244 West 54th Street). Tickets are $20 and are available at the box office or at brownpapertickets.com.
