Thursday, November 7 | 5:30 - 8 pm Impact Hub in Pioneer Square 220 2nd Ave S, Seattle
Light dinner will be served starting at 5:30. Free.
The City wants to fund bold and creative ideas to help people reduce climate impacts on future generations. This evening will be a follow-up (and concluding) workshop to prioritize community-oriented projects addressing climate change. The evening will also include a discussion of criteria for selecting which projects to fund as well as discussion about planned quarterly Community Climate Action meetings (city staff and officials with community members).
The break-out sessions will work on next steps for these topics: Active Transportation & Land Use, Building Energy, Food & Waste, and Community Sustainability. This is a free event. This event is hosted by the Seattle SCALLOPS groups (Sustainable Communities All Over Puget Sound) with support from the Seattle Office of Sustainability & Environment and Seattle Councilmember Mike O'Brien.
