Since 2009, Kat De Lac has been bringing her fun and sexy style to stages around the United States both as a performer and producer of modern burlesque. With unique acts like Waynes World, Mary Jane, and Physically Awesome, she has made quite an impression as being one of the rising stars in the burlesque community. She produces a monthly burlesque show in her hometown of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The revue features national touring stars of the burlesque scene to ever growing and excited crowds. Most recently she was awarded Fan Favorite of the year on Burlesque Bitch.com. This summer she competed in the Burlypics and in The Caribbean Burlesque Festival in Jamaica where she was awarded a trophy for Miss Congeniality. She also performed with Kubrilesque in the Capital Fringe Festival in Washington DC. She is considered a "must see" feature performer. This "Steel City Kitty" will certainly make your engine purr....
Sparklefight
When one first hears the name Sparklefight, the reaction is always the same; "Dad, what's a Sparklefight?" When it gets down the brass tacks the question is not "what is a Sparklefight?" Rather who is Sparklefight? Furthermore, how did these dudes find themselves in the Sparkle Fighting business. Lets start with the latter. Mike B & Ryan H met on the set of the popular sitcom "family matters" where they were both personal fluffers for Jaleel White. both content with their life choices came to a conclusion- the only thing better than getting payed to keep Jaleel White hard is starting a Pop Punk band. Mike G was on a summer vacation down the shore. With a name like Mike, he's bound to get that basketball scholarship after high school, right? Wrong! What Mike really wants to do is write and illustrate a love story. To help him find his way, his gets by Woody to come with him and his sister to spend the summer on Nantucket. The friends Crazy Summer begins when they pickup Cassandra on the way--she's being chased by a motorcycle gang. From here on in, it only gets crazier. Once on the island, Mike and Woody, along with Mike's island friends the Stork twins and Ack-Ack (son of a marine), must help Cassandra save her grandfather's house from the greedy Beckersted Family. Along the way, mike must find a way to write his cartoon love story - and maybe a real one of his own.
