Building a Better Journalist presented by SPJ Oregon/SW Washington
Whether you're a seasoned pro or just starting out, there is always something to learn in journalism.
That's why the Society of Professional Journalists Oregon/SW Washington Chapter and the University of Oregon have teamed up to present the Building a Better Journalist conference on Nov. 2, 2013 at the school's beautiful new Allen Hall.
Join other journalists -- student to professional -- in a day of education, networking and fun. Experts from around the Northwest will share stories and give tips meant to help you strengthen your reporting skills and grow as a storyteller. Make sure to register in advance to take advantage of cheaper admission as well as our afternoon writing and resume workshops. Once you register, you can send writing samples and/or resumes and cover letters to spjoregon@gmail.com so you can receive one-on-one feedback during the conference.
If you have any questions please don't hesitate to email SPJ Oregon/SW Washington President Stover E. Harger III at stoverharger@gmail.com. See you there!
