Blake Upper School Fall Play - Museum
The Blake Upper School is honored to welcome Melinda Moore as guest director of Museum by Tina Howe. Museum is a comedic, sly satire set in the contemporary gallery of an art museum on the final day of a group show of three fictional American artists. The real "show," however, is the parade of visitors as they interact with one another and react wildly to all they see.
The New York Times calls it "a comedy of absurdities with a serious message." With its wacky characters and thoughtful looks into the world of art and culture, The Blake School's production will perhaps be one of the most interesting and amusing trips to a museum anyone might ever experience.
Join in the fun Friday, November 22nd and Saturday, November 23rd at 7:30 and Sunday, November 24th at 2pm. All performances will be in the MacMillan Performing Arts Center on the Hopkins Campus.
Due to the occasional use of strong language in this performance, some families may find this show inappropriate for young children.
