Thai Street Food
Tuesday, November 12, 2013. THAI STREET FOOD Hands-on Chef: Pranee Halvorsen, Owner of I Love Thai Cooking.
This class will focus on traditional Thai street food. One of the best things about living in Thailand is the food. It is not only delicious, but it is also plentiful and cheap. In fact, you can find it on almost any street corner at any time of day or night with each dish being flavorful and a story of its own. Join Pranee at A Chef's Kitchen as she will have you prepare wonderful dishes that the street vendors serve daily. Being able to prepare these dishes at home gives you the option of adding more meat and making more sauce. Khao Mok Gai (Thai rice curry with herbed chicken) Baa Mee Giao Nam Moo Daeng & Pu (Egg noodle soup with wonton & red pork and crab with cilantro and bean sprout) Yum Wunsen Sai moo Yor (Spicy grass noodle salad with pork, cilantro and Chinese celery) Moo Pad Ma-Khua Yao (Sautéed pork, eggplant, fresh chili and basil Khanom Takoyo (pancake with custard filling) Time: 6:30-9:30 PM Cost: $75.00
