THE FURLOUGH SHOW
Have you been told that you are non-essential? Depressed about being furloughed? Laugh away your pain at a stand up comedy show free for government employees and $5 for general admission. We are featuring some of the top stand up comics in the greater Washington area. Just bring your government ID. All other government employees and civilians are welcome for a nominal $5 cover.

Tyler Richardson made a name for himself in the DC, MD and VA area working clubs and universities but has recently taken NYC by storm with an casual tone and friendly presence. He has worked with national touring headliners such as Aisha Tyler, John Pinette, Alonzo Bodden, Reggie Watts, John Witherspoon and more. Recently he has been invited perform in comedy festivals across the country and internationally. And yes, he does children's parties!
Matty Litwack has worked at clubs across the country, including the Arlington Cinema and Drafthouse, Funny Bone, Laughing Skull, and Zanies. Additionally, Matty was a semi-finalist in the 2011 TBS/Rooftop National College Comedy Competition"
Dana Flietman was a featured performer at the She Devil Comedy Festival in New York City and was a finalist in District Comedy's March Madness of Comedy.
Stavros Halkias was voted the funniest man in Baltimore in 2012 and is a regular at Magooby's Joke House and the Baltimore Comedy Factory. He has opened for Eddie Griffin, BJ Novak from the Office and Aries Spears from MadTv.
Jessica Brodkin, your host and emcee, performed stand up at comedy festivals around the country including Laughing Skull Comedy Festival in Atlanta, the Philadelphia Improv Festival, North Carolina Comedy Arts Festival, and Boston's Women in Comedy Festival. She has regular appearances in the top clubs in the D.C. area including the DC Improv, Magooby's Joke House, and the Arlington Cinema Drafthouse.
