God's Country is an intimate look inside the mind and soul of one of the nation's most talented poets. Michelle explores what it means to be a human being in America (one nation under God), the challenges faced from society, and especially elements of the Christian church. An accomplished actress and performer, she will take on nine different characters in what is her first original play in poetic form.
Opening for her will be York's own soulful songstress and spoken word artist, Soul Cry and the evening will be hosted by The Ladies of WordWide, the lovely CoCo & MzPhyne!
