Parent Colloquium: Parenting Gifted Children
The Parent Colloquium, an ongoing series of presentations from area experts on the often unique issues faced by Academy students and parents, will debut on Wednesday, October 16 at 7:00 with special guest Dr. Noriko I. Martinez (PhD, LCSW) in a presentation and discussion entitled "Parenting Gifted Children".
Dr. Martinez is an adjunct faculty member at Loyola University and the University of Chicago, the director of clinical services at the Gifted Learning Center ~ North Shore, and maintains a private psychotherapy practice.
