Halloween at the Lions Club: FAQ & Covid Protocol

One more show! After the beautiful success of our three Jazz at the Lions Club shows, we decided we ought to close out the season right with a Halloween day rock and roller...

What?
Live music. Truly. Not extinct yet.

When?
3pm. Saturday, October 31st.

Where?
Under the wide open sky on the unparalleled oceanside lawn of the Peaks Island Lions Club.

Who?
Dover, New Hampshires heroes of irreverent rock and roll, Rick Rude, alongside Portland, Maines darlings of mellifluous songcraft, Dead Gowns.

How much?
There will be a suggested donation of $10-15, but no one will be turned away for lack of funds.

Open to non-Peaks residents?
Yes! We ask folks coming in from off-island reserve a spot in advance. You can reserve a spot here!

Ferry schedule?
Take the 2:15pm to the island. Ferries leave the island at 3:45pm, 5:00pm, 6:00pm, 7:45pm...

Capacity?
The Maine state capacity for outdoor events is currently set at 100 people. We will be keeping our numbers under that.

Masks?
Masks are required for entry. Full stop! You may remove your mask while seated, but if you move about the Lions Club property, you must be masked.

Seating?
Seating is seat-yourself on the wide open Lions Club lawn, as well as at the many picnic tables, arranged at a safe distance. Please feel free to bring a blanket or a lawn chair, but maintain that distance!

Bathrooms?
Available inside the Lions Club theatre. Only one person inside each bathroom at a time, please.

BYOB?
Yes, indeedy.

Weather?
We hope for clear skies and warm sun, but its October in Maine, so please do dress warm, bring blankets, and all that.
