The story follows Joe Morris (Jackson) and Bernard S. Garrett Sr. (Mackie), two of the first African-American bankers in the United States.

On July 25, 2020, at 4 pm PST and 7 pm EST We will watch the movie The Banker and discuss economics as an element you believe are necessary to bring about the mental revolution of the Black/African mind? Additionally, we will continue to have a conversation about Black Manhood. The purpose of Black Mens Movie Night is to continue a discussion about Black Manhood. With the need for mental revolution, Black Men must take time for a critical examination of ourselves, how we show up, where our ideas of Manhood came from, and how it developed.
