Mare Island Ghost Walk
Join us for a fundraiser ghost walk of the haunted Mare Island Preserve located in Vallejo, CA. This event will benefit both the USS Hornet Museum and the Mare Island Preserve to ensure they continue to enhance our communities with their amazing history.
The ghost walk will be about a 2 mile walk of various hot spots of paranormal activity on Mare Island. You will be taken on a tour of the grounds with members of the Alameda Paranormal Research team. When night falls we will also be doing a full paranormal investigation of the Cemetery and the WWII Ammunitions Bunkers. Claims of paranormal activity in these locations include voices, shadow people, feelings of being watched, and more!
The event is open to all ages (please be mindful that we will be walking, the weather maybe cold, there are critters around, and we will be investigating in the dark).
We will also have food and drinks available for those who purchase tickets as well as some paranormal equipment, t-shirts, and raffle tickets with great prizes.
100% of the money raised goes to two great locations that rely on the generosity of folks like you so please come out for a fun night of spooky stories, ghost hunting, and more!
Event starts at 5pm sharp and goes until 10pm.
After your purchase we will be sending out maps to the location, tips on how to enjoy the event fully and liability release forms to all our guests. You must print your liability form and sign it before we can allow you to participate in the event. Please bring these to the event along with your ticket confirmation information. This is a walking tour held outdoors in nature and we do not want to be held accountable if say you fall and twist your ankle. The terrain is not rough by any means but accidents happen and we need to protect ourselves and the Mare Island Preserve who is helping host this event.
