ONE WEEKEND ONLY ~ SPEED TASTING!
Its musical chairs (with no chairs) for grown-ups, meets speed dating but for wine! Here's how it will work. Social distancing guidelines in action!
We set up 6 bars spaced out in two rooms that are over 10 from each other.
You make an online appointment here to taste your wines. PLEASE BE ON TIME TO YOUR TIME SLOT. The timing is a little tricky we know, but we will make it fun, we promise!
1. Gird your loins! What we mean, is that you are preparing yourself to taste 11 wines in one hour! Eat your breakfast! Eat your lunch! Take a car service - we care about you! We will have both garage doors open to maximize air-flow, so if it's a cool day plan accordingly.
2. At your appropriate time, you are shown to the first bar where 4 total people (or two couples socially distanced) will have 7 minutes to taste two wines. It sounds like a lot, but we know you guys are pros! The person pouring the wines will have 100% attention on your party for 7 minutes. They can give you the full lowdown on the wine. If time permits, you can ask questions. The only thing you will touch throughout this experience is your glass (no tables to set things down on, no surfaces to touch).
3. After 7 minutes, there will be an auditory cue to move to the next bar by following the line on the floor. No pushing through crowds, no waiting in line, no crossing paths with others.
4. After tasting all 11 wines, you go to a sanitized order table (again, no waiting in line) and place your order, where and then given a token for a delicious food thing waiting just outside the door. You can enjoy a yummy snack while your order is filled. Fun wine pickup done safely. Check!
Note: If you are a single club member, no problem. Just reserve a time slot for ourself.
***Due to the limited number of appointments, we are limiting this event to club members only, two people per club membership. If you have your heart set on tasting with friends, we are allowing guests of members to attend the FLASHBACK TASTING EVENT: PLAN C which runs June 25, 26, 27 + 28. For Plan C you can have a total of 5 people in one party, so it will be better for bringing friends. Thank you for your understanding!
