Melodic and Rhythmic Cadences in Indian classical music
Learn to build rhythmic and melodic patterns to Indian classical music. Rhythmic concepts and musical exercises within the Sapta Tals (7 basic time cycles) will be introduced. Dancers will learn to create short dance sequences and will get to practice reciting jathis within the rhythmic and melodic scales.
