This is the third of nine monthly seminar/discussion group that integrates the work of John Gottman, PhD as it applies to consensual non-monogamy. Gottmans seminal research revealed relationship strategies that work along with relationship behaviors that are ultimately destructive. His work offers many practical guidelines for how to keep love alive and grow intimacy in your relationships.
While Gottmans work has been regularly applied to couples of all orientations, we have adapted his work for people either engaging in or considering consensual non-monogamy (CNM). Anyone can attend and benefit from these sessions regardless of your current relationship status - solo poly, dyad, triad, etc!
The series is open, meaning that you do not need to attend all of the sessions to participate. However, we recommend that each participant familiarize themselves with Gottmans overarching principles and research by either reading The Seven Principals of Making Marriage Work (unfortunate title as many of us are not married), or attending one of our in-depth workshops on Gottmans work (e.g., Love Maps & Pleasure Maps). More of those will be on our calendar soon.
