Jack the Ripper
Who was Jack the Ripper? This ballet, set in fragmented scenes, explores the heinous crimes of this mysterious and dangerous man. There is no Hollywood-esque gore, the emphasis is on the haunting legacy his crimes left on London and the world.
This ballet is not for young children. Although there is no 'blood and guts', keep in mind that the piece is based on a serial killer who murdered prostitutes in London. If you feel comfortable answering potential questions from your child about these events, this will be an amazingly beautiful dance that evokes the mystery of the Halloween season.
A strobe light will be used in this performance.
