The manuscript now known as British Library Add. 29987 is a remarkable compendium of vocal and instrumental music from late medieval Italy, including not only vocal music by many of the best-known composers of the era, but also a unique collection of instrumental dances. SINE NOMINE presents a sampling from this fascinating manuscript, with guest appearances by Middle Eastern music specialists George Sawa and Suzanne Meyers Sawa, and dancer Asli Rakkas.
