Magick 101: Break on Through to the Other Side: The Klipot
You've heard of the Tree of Life, now get ready for the Tree of Death! Its also called the Tree of Knowledge, the Left Emanation, or the Sitra Achra (Other Side). It is the ultimate map of the infernal divine.
In this class, we'll explore the Klipot (or Qliphoth). Well describe the spheres of the klipa, compare them to their respective sephira, and meet the demons who inhabit them. Well also use the Klipot to explore concepts such as the creation of the universe, the fall from Eden, the revolt of the angels, the structure of hell, and Satans genderqueer five-way polycule (no, not kidding). Well also talk about magical applications such as initiating through the Klipot.
This class is taught from a snarky Left-Hand Path perspective. Well do our best to be accessible, but if when somebody mentions Binah your response is who?! you might have a hard time. If you don't know the first thing about Kabbala and still really want to go to this class, we recommend this excellent 101 video to get you caught up. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjPRIMdDkOo
Johnny Truant is a co-founder of First Church of the Morningstar, a theistic Satanic church dedicated to knowledge, liberation, and godhood for all. He is also a first-year seminarian at Starr King School for the Ministry. He identifies as a Gonzo occultist and esoteric enfant terrible. He is by no means an expert on the Klipot, just a dude crazy enough to try initiating through it.
