Everyday Food As Medicine Cooking Class
People want to eat more veggies! This is a repeat class since the first one sold out so quickly. This class will happen on Saturday, March 21 from 12-2pm in West Oakland.
Here's the description: Want to eat more vegetables, but need new ideas? Are you trying to cut down on meat, but worried you'll still be hungry? This class features 80% vegetables and 20% meat in an effort to reduce the harm done to animals and our planet, and improve our overall health. You'll learn how to make a mouth-watering 3-course dinner in about 30 minutes. All featured dishes are bold in flavor, super easy and deeply nourishing. This class will feature the following dishes: - Vermicelli, Veggie's and Puff Soup (boosts immunity and mental focus) - Sauteed Broccoli, Cauliflower, Shiitake with Dipping Sauce (reduces bloating) - Mouth-watering Almond Cookies (lifts energy and spirit) - Surprise bonus dish!
