The Helen and Jonathan Sunshine Memorial Concert
Eleanor Reissa is a Brooklyn-born native Yiddish speaker whose work on both English and Yiddish stages as a director, actor, writer, and singer has earned her a Tony Award nomination. A longtime favorite of Yidstock audiences, Reissa debuts a new ensemble and new arrangements this year, as she continues to reinvent the art of Yiddish cabaret. Joining Eleanor are trumpeter/keyboardist Frank London, Anglo-Indian percussionist Deep Singh, and Radical Jewish Culture guitarist Yoshie Fruchter.
