An Opening Night Party & Show!
You are invited to the opening of a brand new live music lounge at the residence of Mark Fernandez. Mark is thrilled to open this gorgeous and intimate space and he wants you there, so he has invited some of the best musical talent in St. Louis to kick it off!
Mark has yet to find a name for this unique room. As a guest at the first ever public show, YOU get a chance to come up with the perfect name. Every one of you will have an opportunity to put in their idea and the official name will be selected by the end of the night!

Ben Nordstrom and Steve Neale have entertained St. Louis audiences together for over ten years. Together they have played sold-out cabarets and concerts at The Sheldon Concert Hall, Blue Strawberry, The Monocle, The Kranzberg, and others. Ben is a well-known presence within the St. Louis musical theatre community, having worked with The Muny, The Repertory Theatre of St. Louis, Shakespeare Festival St. Louis, and others. Steve is a sought-after professional composer, music director, arranger, multi-instrumentalist, and performer. They are psyched to rock Mark's basement.
Laka, pronounced Lay-ka, has performed professionally since 2016. Her musical influences include Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, James Brown, Etta James, Otis Redding, and Bill Withers. Although drawn to soul, blues, and jazz genres, Laka loves to get a crowd moving to pop and hip-hop tunes as well. The energetic soul singer performs at a variety of St. Louis venues with an acoustic duo or full band. Commonly referred to as dynamite, many are surprised by the power that her voice projects.
