Where are Data and technology Taking Us?
Recent advances in unconventional hydraulic fracturing have been characterized by a continuous series of operational leaps forward. The technology advances that have mattered most for dramatic recent industry efficiency gains have included the application of critical process and product improvements, real-time data processing, process simplification, system automation and just-in-time supply chain streamlining. As we enter 2020, we find ourselves asking where the next big advances will come from. What will the next key technological advances be and where and how will they be applied? We believe there is a large role for big data analysis and its use with Machine Learning (ML) and Artificial Intelligence (AI) among others. This session brings a group of experts from varied industries together to discuss what the industry is already doing with these technologies, and where the hydraulic fracturing and unconventionals industry may be heading.
Moderator: Chris Wright, Liberty Oilfield Services
