Life with Father
Life with Father remains the longest-running and most successful non-musical on Broadway at 8 years and 3,224 performances. It's a humorous story based on Father's eccentric characteristics and Mother's continual mollifying of is tantrums. This is a charming story set in the 1880s where Father - Clarence Day - tries to run his home as efficiently as his Wall Street office, but usually fails, because his wife, Vinnie, turns out to be the real head of the household!
