Howard Alden returns to Point Richmond Jazz to venture into the far reaches of the DjangoSphere with local violinist, Kit Eakle. These two will perform as a duo this time around - exploring the compositions of Thelonious Sphere Monk and Django Reinhardt.
Alden and Eakle are discovering new, previously unknown landscapes through the music, giving rise to intimate and intricate musical conversations inspired by the two great composers.
Recently having completed an acclaimed tour of Canada's west coast, this unique duo are ready to share their musical conversations with Bay Area concert goers! You'll want to be there!
