GOLEC uORKIESTRA 2020 - DETROIT, MI

KOLEDOWANIE Z GOLEC uORKIESTRA!

Koledowanie z Golec uOrkiestra to niezwykle nastrojowe, a zarazem pelne energii wydarzenie.  Podczas koncertu, obok tradycyjnych koled takich jak: Wsród nocnej ciszy, W zlobie lezy, Bóg sie rodzi, czy Pójdzmy wszyscy do stajenki, uslyszymy autorskie kompozycje braci Golec  Lokarynki, fujareczki, Idymy z muzyckom, które to dolczaja do zelaznego switecznego kanonu muzycznego. Zasluchamy sie tez w slodkie, liryczne Oj, Maluski, Maluski... Na koncercie nie zabraknie równiez prawdziwych, góralskich winszowan rozpoczynajacych koledowanie i koledniczych opowiesci wplatanych miedzy spiewanie. Zespól zagra równiez wybrane nowe i stare przeboje.

ZAPRASZAMY NA TEN WYJATKOWY WIECZÓR POLSKIEJ TRADYCJI!

POLISH MISSION OF ORCHARD LAKE SCHOOLS INVITES YOU TO THE AMAZING EVENING WITH GOLEC uORKIESTRA !

AUTHENTIC, DYNAMIC, EXCEPTIONAL FOLK BAND FROM POLAND!

Golec uOrkiestra is a Polish folk-rock group founded in 1998 in southern village of Milówka near ywiec by twin brothers Pawel and Lukasz Golec, after whom it is named. First lineup consisted of eight musicians, and the band performed mostly during holidays, also in local clubs. In 1999, two more musicians were added, and in March of that year, the first album was recorded in a studio in Bielsko-Biala. In the following years, Golec uOrkiestra recorded several more albums, becoming one of the most popular folk  rock bands of the country. In an address given on June 15, 2001 at Warsaw University, president George W. Bush mentioned one of group's songs, saying: "Today's own Poland's orchestra called Golec's, is telling the world, "On that wheatfield, I'm gonna build my San Francisco; over that molehill, I'm gonna build my bank."
