Off to Ireland Concert in the Pub
Larry and Jamie aka "The Killen Kats" will be playing an all instrumental Irish concert at the Maggie McGuinness Pub. This concert set at an authentic, private Irish pub will feature songs from Ireland in a session-style atmosphere.
For the second set they invite musicians to join them!
Jamie is a fantastic fiddle player who has been playing since age 4. She spent four years in Ireland where she learned to play like the Irish.
Larry is our Irish Society of North Alabama treasurer, and also plays the fiddle, along with other instruments. He ahs been playing Celtic music with various groups in the area and was also a part of the weekly Irish music sessions at Finnegans Pub before it closed. He also used to be a part of a bluegrass band that traveled internationally and was nominated for Grammy awards!

DATE: Saturday, September 21st. Doors open at 6pm. Performance starts at around 7pm
LOCATION: Maggie McGuinness Pub, SE Huntsville, AL (if you do not know the pub's location, don't worry, we will email it to you)
TICKETS: $10 per person using a seat (plus handling fee for online purchases). Kids (any age) are welcome to attend and are FREE if they do not take a seat. (Most younger kids choose to play in our playroom, but are welcome to come in and out to hear some music as well)
You can buy tickets here online, or you may email Lisa at lisa_bollinger@hotmail.com to arrange payment BEFORE THE CONCERT. If you wish to pay cash or by check, the cost is $10 per ticket.
ALL PAYMENTS MUST BE RECEIVED BEFORE THE CONCERT. There will be NO PAYMENTS AT THE DOOR.
DRINKS: Drinks are bring your own OR donate to the pub fund to cover costs of what you consume.
FOOD: Please bring an appetizer or dessert to share. This is optional, but it makes for a fun event to have some snacks for the evening.
