CANCELED - An Evening of Persian Classical Music with Nathan Kolosko & Eric LaPerna
The development of Persian music dates back thousands of years to pre-historic times. Firmly rooted in the canonic body of melodies known as the Radif, Persian classical repertoire continues to evolve. Both composed and improvised material combine to evoke the numerous cultural and stylistic influences this music embodies.
On this concert Nathan Kolosko will perform three different modal suites on Oud, Kamancheh and Tar. Nathan will be joined by Eric LaPerna on Tabla and Frame Drum.
