2020 Women of the World Fashion Show Gala
Women of the World is proud to present its 10th Annual Fashion Show Gala. This year's theme is 'Nevertheless, She Persisted.' She had been told there would be countless obstacles. She was warned there would be those who would not listen to her voice. She was given every excuse to stop. Nevertheless, she persisted. She is our mother, our sister, our friend and neighbor. At Women of the World, she is encouraged and empowered to be bold and brave in every endeavour, from articulating her dreams to accomplishing concrete goals. It is up to each of us to remove the barriers she faces where possible, amplify her voice when necessary, and stand in witness of her determination and resilience at every opportunity. Because her persistence is a revolution of its own.
The Women of the World Fashion Show places the ethnic fashions of displaced women on display at this educational gala event for International Women's Day. We not only celebrate the cultures of the women of the world, but also encourage Utahns to go out and meet their new neighbors, to network with them, and help them on their path to self-reliance.
Women of the World's 10th Annual Fashion Show is being held at the Jaden Event Center at Trolley Square a beautiful event venue in downtown Salt Lake City.
