You are invited to experience the night of the winter solstice with Persephone, the Greek Goddess of the Underworld. She will be our guide and inspiration through this performance of dance, sculpture, poetry and music. The audience will be asked to generate "seeds of renewal"- personal and collective visions for the upcoming year.
With Michelle Marroquin Dance/Performance Art, (presenting her newest solo dance work), Valerie Gilman artist/sculptor of Persephone's Dream; a Prayer for Peace (currently at Art in the Orchard), Carolyn Cushing's poetry and Tony Silva's wintery musical landscape.
Saturday, December 21st, 8pm at Local Gallery.
