An inventive and effusive pianist, psalteriumist, and composer, Marina Albero moved to Seattle from Barcelona in 2014 and has been well received by her fellow musicians, listeners, and media. The quartet known as Marindia explores the melodic and rhythmic similarities between Classical Indian music and Flamenco creating a powerful blend with its own character. Marina will be joined by master singer Srivani Jade, the great tabla player Anil Prasad and the sublime Dennis Staskowski on bass. Come be mesmerized by these spellbinding performers!
