HLWW Drama Club proudly presents Back to the 80s by Neil Gooding, additional material by Stuart Smith, revised orchestrations and arrangements by Brett Foster, original musical adaptations by Scott Copeman - A pop culture trip down memory lane. We hear the accountin of an adult Corey Palmer (Daniel Graham) as his story of his senior year of high school: his best friends (Zeke Karels, Kaleb Rodin, Alex Erickson, Andrew Williamson, Isaiah Karels) and how the most popular boy in school - Michael (Anthony Lueck) has stolen away Tiffany Houston (Lily Karg), the young Coreys (Isaac Busse) longtime crush. But this isnt the only relationship on the rocks: teachers Mr. Cocker (Joe Schanus) and Ms. Brannigan (Candace Krumweide) are fighting, Michael is posing as new girl Eileens (Grace Anderson) mysterious secret admirer, and Tiffanys friend Cyndi (MiKayla Scherping) doesnt want to give admirer Billy (Brayan Kust) the time of day. The jukebox score includes a wide variety of popular hits such as Video Killed the Radio Star, Centerfold, Love Shack, and Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go.
