Spellbound Burlesque invites you to a night of sizzling burlesque in downtown Phoenix for their 5th Anniversary Show! Come see an incredible cast of captivating performers in their newest production, Wicked, on Saturday November 16th. If you havent experienced their in-the-round 360-degree stage seating, then prepare yourself for a uniquely intimate evening of exquisite entertainment. Held at decadent The Grand Ballroom, Spellbound Burlesque is bringing another round of amazing performers from burlesque communities across the country!
Leaning towards the classic side of the burlesque spectrum, her performance style can best be described as a combination of sultry expression, sensual movement, and thoughtful musicality. A study in contrast, as her name and tagline suggest -Brown Sugar and Spice- she possesses the quick and the slow, the sweet and the nasty, the sultry and the innocent, and the ability to seamlessly transition between them. Boo Bess is a New York City based, nationally touring, award-winning burlesque host and dancer since 2008. She is a frequent host at venues all over the NYC and thosts the thrice-weekly burlesque show at Chelsea speakeasy Bathtub Gin. She is the host of the Indianapolis based, nationwide Burlesque Bonanaza by Front Row Paul and was a member of the touring troupe Twirly Whirly Burly Q as well as Storybook Burlesque. She won the "Most Innovative" award with her duet partner Jenny Cest Quoi at the 2018 Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas.
Pussycat, pussycat. Ginger shimmied to the Vancouver stage via Adelaide, Australia in 2013. Upon moving to the West Coast, she was enchanted by the power and persuasion of the burlesque community. Ginger a lifelong student of dance and theatre, and an enthusiastic gyrator immersed herself in the performance community. 2013 seems so long ago. These days, Ginger bewitches show-goers with her luxuriant burlesque, stunning audiences across Canada and the US as the seventh member of The Lost Girls burlesque group. Back home, she serves her Vancouver community as a sitting board member of VIBF. With aesthetic nods to vixens past, Gingers mercurial performance style brims with irreverence. A true Leo, Gingers kiss is as sure as her bite.
