TICKETS WILL BE AVAILABLE AT THE DOOR AFTER ONLINE SALES HAVE ENDED.
Guitarist Yoshie Fruchter leads a stellar group to recreate Lou Klayman's notorious 1961 recording Twistin the Freilach of Yiddish songs with a "Twist Rock Beat." He'll be joined by bassist Elysa Sunshine, drummer Kenny Wollesen, saxophonist Jessica Lurie and many surprise guests.
Then, trumpeter Steven Bernstein's legendary band Sex Mob (featuring Tony Sherr - bass & Kenny Wollesen - drums) will celebrate and reconstruct the music of the brilliant musician/humorist Mickey Katz (1909-1985), augmented by clarinetist Marty Ehrlich and Michael Winograd.
