The LUMA Foundation, the Center for Curatorial Studies at Bard College, and the Bard College Human Rights Project present:
The Flood of Rights
New technologies of image-capture and channels of communication are transforming the very terms of human rights. This conference will explore those innovations, and investigate how the newly produced and disseminated universalizing pressures on ethics, politics, law, civic engagement, and their institutions are themselves transfigured in the process.
