Mime Intensive for Adults
This is an intensive class of Mime for actors, dancers, clowns, circus performers, flow artists and everyday life. Whether you're a beginner or seasoned professional performer, the instructor will draw from her background as a professional mime, clown and producer to introduce ways to write your own mime routines. Warning: may lead to future performing opportunities and collaborations - or not - no pressure.

Instructor - Beth Byrd-Lonski
Beth Has trained with Marcel Marceau, Kari Margolis, Gregg Goldston, Nick Johnson, Samuel Avital, David Gaines, Joe Williams, Stephanie Roberts, Patrick Rippeto, Antonio Fava, Jaron Aviv Hollander, Slater Penney, Kirsten Stephens, Stephen Chipps, Rick Wamer, Audrey Crabtree, Elizabeth Baron and many others. She's created shows for The Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, Charlotte Street Foundation, The Mid-America Shakespeare Festival, The Kansas City Renaissance Festival, The Mid-Continent Public Libraries, The National Bureau of Touring Artists and many others. She is the artistic director of Byrd Productions, co -founder of The Flock, a company of Clowns AND Commedia Kansas City. She's a former Artist Inc artist, Charlotte Street Foundation artist, Art in the Loop artist, Kansas Artists Coalition artist, among others.
She currently administrates the Clown Classes of Adults at The City in Motion School of Dance and is hot off of 23 days of being a mime for Worlds of Fun this summer. LET'S DO THIS!
